At Innotrans 2018 Rex presented an alternative solution for the storage and transport of wheelsets and bogies. With our wheel-support-pads, we were able to convince so far some rail companies as well as OEM about the economic aspects, the easy handling and the versatility of use.

We are very pleased to inform you that UIC as approved the product as officially allowed transpor- tation security tool for the transport of wheelsets. As of April 1st 2019, our Wheel-Support-pads are integrated in the loading guidelines of UIC. At this stage, we are working for the registration for the transport of bogies. This registration will take place still in 2020.

Actually several thousands of the wheel-support-pads are in use for transport and storage of whe- elsets and bogies. The transport could take place with trucks or bay train. We would like to thanks especially SBB for the cooperation during the development phase of the product. Furthermore, we would like to thank BLS for providing us the possibility to create an ap- plication video of the wheel-support-pads on their ground. The video is available on our Youtube channel.
